what must one do to be saved?

This is a blog to tell everyone how to be saved. There is only one way to God. It is through Jesus Christ His Son. A lot of people pretend to know God, but really don't; others think that they know Him and really don't. Jesus said that many would come to Him in that day and say "Lord, Lord" didn't we prophesy in your name, and cast out demons, and perform miracles in your name. (Matt. 7:22) A person doesn't have to be a Christian to do these things. A Christian is someone who gives their whole life to Jesus. A Christian is someone who loves the Lord, God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength, and loves their neighbor as themselves. A Christian is someone who loves others. The best way to love others is by telling them how to be saved.

Jesus said "God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him." (John 3:17) Jesus also said "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16). This is how to be saved.

God let His Son be killed so that He could be the sacrifice for the sins of the world. Three days later after Jesus was killed, God raised Him from the dead, to prove that He had conquered sin and death. There is no greater love than this. To be saved, all you have to do is ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins, and love Him with all your heart, soul, mind and strength, and love your neighbor as yourself. Your life won't be easy and go exactly how you want it to after this. A lot of people think all their troubles go away when Jesus comes into their life, but that's not true. This is not the easiest way to live, but it is the best way to live, and you will never be alone. (Psalm 139). God sent Jesus to earth to show us how to live, and to give us everlasting life.

The best way to learn more about how to be saved, and God's love is to read the Bible. The book of John, in the New Testament is a great place to start. God Bless everyone who reads this.
